About ME
After 15 years as an editor and journalist, nine years ago I switched to the world of trend forecasting, taking up the role of Global Chief Content Officer, then Managing Director and now CEO at trend forecasting company WGSN.
Before WGSN, I was the founding Editor-in-Chief of The Huffington Post UK, and an Editorial Director for the global brand. I’ve also held roles at Marie Claire, Glamour and Vogue.com, as well as contributing to The Guardian, Metro and various other papers and magazines. I also sat on the advisory board for The Telegraph Media Group and act as an advisor for Copenhagen Fashion Week.
During my time at HuffPost, I was named Editor of the Year at the Online Media Awards two years running, and Media Innovator of the Year at the British Media Awards. I was also included in The Drum’s Top 50 Female Innovators in Digital Journalism. In 2015, Management Today included me in its annual 35 Under 35 list.
I love talking almost as much as I love editing, and have appeared on Sky News, Newsnight, the Today programme, The Andrew Marr show and Lorraine. I’ve been contributor to Channel 4’s What Britain Buys series, and regularly pop up on stage at conferences like SXSW, TedX, Cannes Lions and Web Summit, to name just a few.
